About Me
Hey! I'm Ohad Bachner, from Tel Aviv, Israel. I'm the co-founder of Escher Finance, where we develop Web3 DeFi abstract applications.
I graduated from the Technion with a B.Sc. in Systems Information Engineering, specializing in Machine Learning, AI, and their integration with robotics. I also worked on optimization and decentralized networks.
Before Escher Finance, I co-founded two companies: Chelo, where we built a modular structure for DAOs, and Nomos, where we developed IBC integration on Cosmos using IBC. Prior to that, I worked at VC ZMT Capital.
In my free time, I enjoy staying active through CrossFit, swimming (I'm a lifeguard), running, and surfing waves—though I'm most passionate about snowboarding.
I love listening to podcasts about politics, sports, history, and tech.
Fun fact: Me and one of my best friends were selling electric scooters on Amazon. It was going well until we didn't know how to use the Amazon Supply FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) Program, and they closed our shop. Hahaha!

Enhancing Cognitive Robotics with Commonsense through LLM-Generated Preconditions and Subgoals
This paper explores how combining a Large Language Model with classical symbolic planning can make robots more reliable in everyday tasks. The system uses the LLM to propose hidden preconditions and small subgoals from natural language instructions, then turns them into a formal planning model and executes the plan in simulation.
Compared to a baseline planner without LLM commonsense, the approach produces more valid plans, achieves higher task success rates, and adapts better when the environment changes.
